Last Sunday, we had the privilege of praying over a team preparing to travel to Uganda. Since then, our executive leadership team has spent considerable time in prayer, gathering information regarding recent events, seeking counsel, and consulting with our ministry partners on the ground. After carefully evaluating the situation and considering recommendations from trusted sources, we made the difficult decision to cancel June’s mission trip to Uganda.

This decision was not made lightly. We know many of our team members have invested months of prayer, preparation, fundraising, and anticipation into this opportunity. While we share in their disappointment, we also believe that wise stewardship and caring well for the people God has entrusted to us must guide our decisions.

Although the trip will not move forward, our commitment to global missions remains unchanged. We continue to believe deeply in the work being done through our ministry partners in Uganda and are grateful for the lives being impacted through their faithful service. We ask that you join us in praying for Uganda, for our ministry partners, and for the continued advancement of the Gospel in that region.
