THANKFUL FOR YOU, GRACEWAY
Family, as we approach Thanksgiving, our hearts turn again to the goodness of Jesus. Every blessing in our lives comes from His hand. His love for His people is steady and strong. His mercy meets us in our joy and in our need. Thanksgiving gives us a sacred moment to slow down and remember that our Savior is near. He sees us. He cares for us. He walks with us.

We also know that Thanksgiving does not look the same for everyone. For some, it is a day filled with celebration and family. For others, it may bring memories, loss, or a quieter table. Wherever you find yourself, Jesus is present with you. His love for you does not rise or fall with circumstances. He calls all of us to bring our hearts to Him in prayer and to share our thanks with Him. Gratitude is a way of lifting our eyes to the One who never changes.

This week, I want to offer a gentle challenge. Take a moment to write a note, send a text, or make a call to someone you are thankful for. Tell them what they mean to you. Speak life over them. Let your gratitude become encouragement in their day. These simple acts carry the heart of Jesus into the lives of others.

As followers of Christ, we are also invited to express our gratitude through compassion, patience, and love. A kind word. A gentle encouragement. A prayer over someone who needs strength. These are holy expressions of the heart of our Savior.

If you or someone you know has a food need this week, our last day of distribution will be Wednesday, Nov 26, from 10 AM to 12 PM. If this is you, please come to The Point on that day to pick up some food. We want to serve you in any way we can.

Night to Shine 2026
As we reflect on gratitude this week, we also look ahead to one of the most beautiful ways we get to share the love of Jesus with our city. On Friday, February 13, from 6 to 9 PM, Graceway will once again help host Night to Shine at Hale Arena at the American Royal. This will be our third year serving alongside the Tim Tebow Foundation to create an unforgettable prom night experience for individuals with special needs, ages fourteen and older.

Night to Shine is more than an event. It is a sacred opportunity to honor those precious to God and to remind them that they are seen, valued, and deeply loved. Every volunteer plays a part in showing the heart of Christ in a real and tangible way.

We would love to see our church family step in again with joy. There are many meaningful ways to serve, from being a buddy to welcoming guests to helping with setup and teardown. We will include a link to all available roles and the sign-up form. Please be praying about how you can help make this night shine for our guests and for our city.

Church family, we are thankful for you. Thankful for your faith, your generosity, and your love for Jesus and for one another. May the peace of Christ fill your home this Thanksgiving, and may His presence give you joy, rest, and hope.
