As we continue moving toward Christmas, I am reminded how this season invites us to look a little deeper. Last week, we talked about the way God meets us in our longing and strengthens our hearts. This week gives us another chance to reflect on the character of Jesus and the way His coming brings a calm confidence to our lives. Amid busy schedules and long to-do lists, God is still forming something steady and beautiful in His people. My prayer is that you feel that quiet work of God as we gather.

Pastor Tim will continue our Christmas series, Behold the King, this Sunday, and I believe it will speak to exactly where many of us are living right now. I encourage you to be in the room if you can. If you cannot make it in person, you can join us online and stay connected to what God is doing in our church family.

Winter Wonderland in SkyKids
This Sunday is also a special day for our SkyKids families. Winter Wonderland is happening during all services. Every year, our team creates a Christmas store where children can “shop” for a gift for their parents or guardians. It is one of the sweetest traditions we have because it teaches generosity in a simple and meaningful way. If you have little ones, make sure they are checked in and ready to enjoy this experience. We will also have a special visit from Santa, so get your cameras ready!

Looking ahead to our Christmas Eve gatherings
We are preparing for a beautiful day of worship on Christmas Eve with services at 12:30, 2:30, and 4:30 PM. These gatherings are among the most meaningful moments of the year, and we want to ensure we have room for you and those you plan to invite. Church, I am thankful for the way you lean into this season with faith and expectation. As we move closer to Christmas, I pray that your home is filled with moments of rest and joy and that the presence of Jesus strengthens your heart.
