    GROUP NOTES

Who is stronger because of your influence?

Paul measured his ministry not by the places he visited but by the people he strengthened. Think about your family, workplace, friendships, church, or neighborhood. If someone looked at your life today, who could honestly say they are more spiritually mature, more encouraged, or more faithful because God placed you in their life? What intentional step could you take this week to strengthen someone else?
What are you treating like an owner that God has called you to steward?
Paul reminded the Ephesian elders that the church belongs to Christ because He purchased it with His own blood. We often act as owners of our careers, families, ministries, resources, or reputations instead of stewards entrusted with God's gifts. Where are you tempted to protect "your kingdom" rather than faithfully steward Christ's? How would your decisions change if you truly believed everything you have belongs to Him?
Is your definition of God's will shaped more by comfort or by faithfulness?
Throughout Acts 21, the Holy Spirit repeatedly reveals that suffering awaits Paul, but never tells him to avoid it. God prepares him rather than redirects him. When you face hardship, inconvenience, or sacrifice, is your first instinct to assume you've missed God's will, or to ask how He may be inviting you to trust Him more deeply? Is there an area where God is calling you to costly obedience?
How do you respond when you are misunderstood or treated unfairly?
Paul was falsely accused, attacked by an angry crowd, and arrested for something he did not do. Yet God was still working through every moment. Think about a recent situation where you felt misunderstood, criticized, or unfairly treated. Did you become bitter, defensive, or discouraged, or were you able to trust that God's purposes are not limited by other people's opinions? What would it look like to rest in God's sovereignty rather than demanding immediate vindication?
What will your legacy be if your race ended today?
Paul knew his ministry was nearing its final chapter, yet his greatest concern was not preserving his comfort but finishing faithfully. If those closest to you reflected on your life today, what would they say you loved most? What Kingdom investments would outlive you? When your race is over, what do you hope your spouse, children, friends, church, or coworkers will remember about the way you followed Jesus?
