Ephesians 6:10-18 talks about the Armor of God, and even young kids can understand that God gives us tools to face challenges bravely.
Teaching them about each piece turns Scripture into something practical and memorable.
🎨 Ways to Make It Fun:
- Belt of Truth: Play “honesty charades” or storytelling games about being truthful.
- Breastplate of Righteousness: Role-play scenarios where kids choose to do the right thing.
- Shield of Faith: Share personal stories of trusting God, then make a small craft “shield” as a reminder.
- Helmet of Salvation & Sword of the Spirit: Use paper, cardboard, or toys to represent the pieces while discussing their meaning.
- Shoes of Peace: Encourage gentle actions at home, helping others, or forgiving a sibling.
📖 Starter Verses:
Ephesians 6:11 – “Put on the full armor of God, so that you can take your stand against the devil’s schemes.”
Psalm 18:2 – “The Lord is my rock, my fortress and my deliverer.”
Parent Tip: Let kids move, dress up, and act out each piece. Movement + imagination = stronger memory and understanding.
