We are thrilled to announce the launch of a brand-new ministry at Graceway—Graceway FAM (Foster & Adoption Ministry)—which we will be commissioning together this Sunday!
This ministry exists to provide spiritual, emotional, and material support to families who are caring for vulnerable children through foster care, adoption, or kinship care. Whether you’re a caregiver or someone who wants to serve, this ministry is built on the belief that every follower of Jesus can play a role in supporting these families.
Here’s what Graceway Foster Adoption Ministry is all about:
- Education – Creating opportunities for the church to learn about the child welfare system, trauma-informed care, and what it means to walk alongside these families.
- Equipping – Helping volunteers discover how their unique gifts and skills can be used to support families right here at Graceway.
- Care – Providing practical, ongoing support to foster, adoptive, and kinship families through meals, events, and community connection.
If you’re currently a foster, adoptive, or kinship caregiver—or if you have a heart for supporting these families—we invite you to attend our Vision Night on Wednesday, June 4, in the Growth Track room. This will be a special time to hear more about the heart behind the ministry and how you can get involved.
Graceway, thank you for being a church that responds with compassion. We can’t wait to see what God does through this new ministry!
