As we step into this meaningful season, my heart is full. These weeks leading up to Christmas carry a quiet invitation. They call us to slow down, lift our eyes, and remember that the story we celebrate is not just ancient history. It is God’s kindness breaking into our world again. It is light pushing back the darkness. It is the reminder that God still meets His people right where they are.

Every year at this time, we find ourselves longing for something. Sometimes it is clarity, peace, or strength for the moment we are living through. Sometimes it is simply the assurance that God sees us and has not let go. The good news is that Jesus came for people who are waiting and people who are weary. He came to steady our hearts and lift our eyes. When we gather each weekend during this season, my prayer is that your heart will sense that steadying grace in a fresh way.

This weekend, Pastor Tim will begin our Christmas series called Behold the King, and he has a timely word prepared for us. I also want to encourage you to be part of the service because Pastor Tim will be sharing some exciting news about this year’s Compassion Project. If you can be in the room, I hope you will. If you cannot make it in person, you can join us online and still be part of what God is doing.

We are preparing for a beautiful day of worship on Christmas Eve with services at 12:30 PM, 2:30 PM, and 4:30 PM. These gatherings are some of the most meaningful moments of the year for our church family, and we want to make sure we have room for you and for those you plan to invite.
